Hamtime
CLock series, concepts and meditation on charcuterie - 2012-Present
Series of handmade wooden clocks, and markers of alternate temporal existence or, Hamtime. Hamtime, as temporal philosophy, is developed around the relativity and variability of time. The ham is traditionally cut, from the hind leg of a swine. The Hamclock measures surrounding temporal progression based on bending of the knee joint, shortening the distance between thigh an calf. Repeated and rythmic bending results in a shift in surrounding time-motion, and may transport the practitioner of Hamtime to an alternate state of being.
Experiments in Hamtime are ongoing, and results appear to be favorable.
